Taylor Nixon
Pelvic Floor & Continence Physiotherapist
Taylor’s journey into pelvic health began during her physiotherapy studies, particularly at Cabrini Malvern, where she gained valuable insight into both pre and postnatal women's health. This experience ignited her passion for a field she believes is crucial for many women.
After completing her degree, Taylor pursued further training, earning a Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy from Melbourne University. Her focus areas include preparation for and recovery from childbirth, managing bladder conditions throughout life, and addressing sexual and pelvic pain, particularly Endometriosis, which impacts about 1 in 9 Australian women. As an Endo Warrior herself, Taylor is dedicated to empowering women facing similar challenges, helping them regain control and manage their pain effectively.
Taylor is renowned for her engaging personality and effective communication skills, which help her connect with patients and make them feel at ease. In her practice, Taylor emphasises a collaborative approach, working closely with her patients to understand their individual goals and obstacles. She is committed to patient education, equipping her clients with the knowledge and tools they need to take charge of their pelvic health.
Outside of her professional life, Taylor enjoys reading, taking walks in nature, attending Pilates classes, and socialising with friends during book club meetings or cocktail nights.
